6:30 PM Education topic: Allographs: What You Ought to Know!
Objectives: Describe at least 3 components to assess when checking the
integrity of the allograft upon immediate delivery;
list essential information documented in inventory logs and intra-operative
notes;
explain the sequestering process for recalled or potentially contaminated
allograph tissue
7:30 PM Chapter business meeting
Italian Country buffet dinner is available for $ 23.00 and must be reserved in advance. The deadline for reservations is noon, October 30, with Millie Malinao at 408 972-7130. When calling, please leave your name and a phone number for Millie to call and confirm. If you are unable to attend after you have called and reserved a dinner, you must pay for the dinner. We are charged for the number of dinners that we reserve.
One contact hour will be given for the educational presentation. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider number CEP 2168 for one contact hour.
Directions to Michael's at Shoreline: From 101 North or South: Take Shoreline exit East. Follow Shoreline Blvd approximately 1 mile. Continue through park entrance and follow the signs to the restaurant.
The January, 2010, meeting will be Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Michael's at Shoreline. The speaker and education topic is to be determined.
