President’s Message
Greetings AORN Members and Associates,

Well, this is the last newsletter of the season. It all seems like a blur to me. By the time this letter is distributed Congress will have come and gone. Our chapter delegates will have helped to shape the future of Perioperative nursing practice and elected new national board members. I would like take this opportunity to thank everyone for attending meetings and participating in special projects to support AORN this year, especially those serving as committee and board members. Your efforts were much appreciated.

I would like to ask everyone to seriously consider how you can help the chapter promote professional perioperative nursing practice and complete a willingness to serve form for a board office or committee position for the coming year. Time is running out. We will be electing new officers and committee members at the May 21st meeting. Please send your forms to Cathy Benbow or Judith Trocke.

Finally, I would like to thank the Tucson Orthopaedic Institute for sponsoring the Caucus Luncheon for Southern Arizona Chapter attendees this year. Also, many thanks to Tucson Orthopaedic Surgery Center for sponsoring one delegate to Congress.
