As I write this information, our Chapter is preparing to exhibit at the Arizona Science Center on November 15. This appearance will be number ELEVEN!

Thanks to Dr. Blick for his presentation at our November Chapter meeting on Robotic Surgery – emphasizing Radical Prostatectomy.

Your Board members provided a sub sandwich, chips, and drinks for those attending. Cathy Coughlin baked cupcakes as a special dessert treat. Thank you, Jackie Craig, for arranging the food service.

Take a moment out of your busy schedule to congratulate the delegates elected during the November meeting that will be representing our Chapter at AORN Congress in Chicago, 2009.

The delegates will be: Maggie McGee, Terri Aldama, Bonnie Warner, Bonnie Ingram, Joy Crouse, Karen MacDonald, Jackie Craig, and myself, Bev Sanders. Although our quota of nine delegates plus an alternate was not met, the aforementioned individuals will enthusiastically represent our Chapter.

As we look forward to the December meeting, and the National AORN President’s appearance and presentation, please thoroughly read our Circulator to learn more information about what your Chapter will be doing regarding gift exchange, charity, food bank, Santa pictures and afghan raffle.

I wish each member a truly blessed Thanksgiving holiday and look forward to our December Christmas celebration.
