Congress Info 2008
All Chapter delegates and other members attending Congress should submit their completed Congress registration form to Terri Aldama so our Chapter may receive the group rate when registration forms are submitted. The registrations must be submitted to AORN before February 11th. The regular attendees (those that are not delegates) should send in their registration forms and checks made out to “Phoenix & the Valley AORN” in the amount of $450.00 to Terri Aldama. The checks must also include fees for additional activities, such as the Awards Reception, Closing Ceremony, Denim & Diamonds, etc.
If you want to participate in the group discount, please contact Terri Aldama as soon as possible.

The Arizona Caucus luncheon will be on Monday, March 31st from 1200-1330. Reservations need to be made by March 14th and money is due by March 17th.
All delegates must attend.
Please make your reservations with Bonnie Ingram.
Members that are going to Congress need to let Bonnie Ingram know which hotel they are staying at and list a cell phone number.
-NOTICE-
Ann Tyrell will be speaking at Congress, and
Karen MacDonald is presenting a poster at Congress about our OR Nurse Day at the AZ Science Center.
According to the Phoenix & the Valley Chapter bylaws all delegates must attend two consecutive meetings prior to Congress, thus making the February 12th and March 11th meetings mandatory. The delegates will be discussing the candidates, issues, and position statements to be voted on at Congress. It’s very helpful for the membership at large to let the delegates know how they feel about the above items and give their opinions to assist in making the choices. Please refer to the January 2008 issue of your journal to read everything.
