The Combined Board Meeting will be held July 19th, with the location and time to be announced by Beverly Sanders.

The American Nurses Association has announced the theme for National Nurses Week 2008 as “Nurses: Making a Difference Every Day.”
National Nurses Week begins May 6th on National Nurses Day, and continues through May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s birthday.

AORN Members to Receive ANA Affiliate Membership

AORN and The American Nurses Association (ANA) struck a deal to provide all AORN members with individual affiliate, a non-voting status membership to ANA, effective July 1, 2008. The ANA affiliate membership will allow AORN members to connect with the resources and advocacy activities of ANA and the broader nursing community.

This new benefit of membership is included at no additional cost to AORN members. ANA affiliate membership benefits include:
