CENTRAL ALABAMA AORN CHAPTER #0104

Welcome to AORN of Central Alabama

Central Alabama AORN Chapter #0104 was organized in the early 1970s with the purpose of organizing operating room nurses in our area to share ideas, experiences and educational programs. Central Alabama AORN's geographical area encompasses a 75 mile radius. We hope that AORN will open many new doors for you. Membership in AORN is rewarding in so many ways: close friendships, the networking of professional knowledge and information as well as the opportunity to foster your own personal leadership growth. Please join us at our monthly meetings.

Meetings: 3^rd Monday night September, October, January through May on the 11^th floor of the Goode Medical, 2^nd Monday night in November & December.

Our installation banquet is held in May.
In addition our chapter sponsors one or more seminars each year as an educational opportunity for our members and coworkers and as a fund raiser for our chapter.

LOCAL CHAPTER OBJECTIVES
The local chapter serves the goals established by National AORN. These include providing for education, networking among local perioperative nurses, and acting as a liaison to the national organization. In addition, the chapter facilitates delegate selection to attend National Congress.

Attention Nursing Students- Our chapter offers a nursing scholarship each year. If you are interested fill out the application listed in the documents section and return with required documents.
